A Note from the Founder

My name is Natalia Liashenko, Ph.D., and Marine Solver is the realization of a long-standing personal and professional vision. My journey began in scientific research at the Department of Systems Analysis and Logistics, Odessa National Marine University, where I specialized in designing economic-mathematical models for transport systems. Later, while working in the IT sector for a major shipping platform (ShipNext), I came to see that the growing availability of structured and accessible data on vessels and cargoes opened new possibilities. I realized that optimization and model-driven decision-making were the natural next step in the evolution of modern fleet management — enabling professionals to harness this data for greater clarity, consistency, and strategic advantage.

I dreamed of creating something different - a tool that would bring together the rigor of academic modeling and the demands of real-world fleet management. With Marine Solver, I combined my expertise in model development with modern software engineering to create a solution that is both intelligent and practical.
